Business Sweden, together with FKG and Drive Sweden, welcomes you to a free webinar on value chain-related trends in Asia with a focus on the automotive industry.

Arranged by:
Business Sweden in collaboration with FKG and Drive Sweden

When it comes to cost efficiency, China has been in focus  for a long time. But in recent years the trends on value chains have started to change. Increased costs, industrial transformation and geopolitical tensions has spurred a diversification of purchasing and producing in China. The current pandemic adds to this and has an accelerating effect in the form of increased regional focus and increased demands on redundancy in the value chains in order to be able to withstand unexpected events in the future.

At the same time, Southeast Asia, with a population of 655 million, growing middle class and a strategic geographical location has grown steadily as a market and purchasing and production hub for Swedish companies.

This webinar will shed light on current trends, how Swedish companies will be affected by them and what opportunities might be created. The webinar will also discuss Southeast Asia's future role in purchasing and production.

Confirmed speakers:

  • Björn Savlid, Trade Secretary in Vietnam, Business Sweden
